Our 20 pitch caravan site is situated on a tranquil site in the village of Bolam.

The site is situated ¾ of a mile from the A68 and five miles from the A1.

The local surroundings are such as Bowes Museum, near Barnard Castle, Hamsterley Forest, which is within fifteen minutes of the site, offering cycling routes and walks for all age groups. Kynren is also nearby in Bishop Auckland.

The site is excellent for families. There is an onsite pub with a large function room that holds up to 120 people.

The site has toilet and shower facilities.

Bell Tents

We are extremely happy to now offer a bespoke bell tent experience at The Countryman and Countryview Camp Site.

2 Berth Bell Tent

The first of our bell tents is perfect for a romantic getaway or a quiet break. This offers two people a cosy space filled with a double bed including pillows and duvet. In addition, ambient electric and solar lighting ensures a calming space throughout the duration of your stay. Our tents also include a mini fridge, kettle, glassware, interior seating and an exterior seating area. Each of our tents offer an electric port and USB charging point for your convenience.

All showers and toilets are accessible on-site and are just a short walk from our comfortable tent.

All of the above is situated in the tranquil village of Bolam with fantastic views of the surrounding area.”

Prices

Motorhomes, Tents & Caravans – £35.00 per night – Minimum of two night stay.
£40.00 per night on Bank Holidays (additional persons will be charged £3.00 per person).

One car per unit free, extra £4 each for any extra cars or vans. No work or commercial vans with advertising allowed in the site.

Departure time is at 11.00am and arrivals at 12.00pm.

Cancellations prior to 14 days of arrival: The cancellation of a booking prior to 14 days of arrival will result in a 13% loss of the total booking amount upon refunding.

Cancellations 14 days within arrival: We do not offer refunds for cancellations within 14 days of arrival. Deposits are also non-refundable.

We do not offer refunds or exchange of dates due to weather conditions out of our control.

You can choose from our main menu. We also have a children’s menu available.

Our Sunday carvery is very popular, we therefore advise booking. The carvery is served 12.00pm – 3.30pm.
